Gobies are an excellent addition to reef aquariums as they are very timid, disease resistant and hardy. Be sure to supplement their diet with meaty frozen foods (thawed) and marine sinking pellets. Because they are bottom dwellers, target feeding is recommended to keep them from missing meals. They can become territorial against other clown gobies, other gobies and bottom dwellers if the aquarium is not large enough so they should be the only goby unless they are a mated pair. This little guy has an adult size of about 1" and are a great addition to smaller aquariums. They have yellow body and a larger head. The Yellow Clown Gobies are found in the Western Pacific Ocean within SPS (Acropora) corals in lagoons up to 15 meters deep. In the wild, they lay their eggs on the branches of Acropora, which can damage tissue damage in home aquariums.
